Finley Elementary School

*Dyer County Schools will not be in session on Friday, May 10th. The regular schedule will resume on Monday, May 13th.

*The last day of the 2012-2013 school year will be on Tuesday, May 21st. School will dismiss at 11:00 A.M.

*Per the Dyer County Board of Education, this schedule will change if any inclement weather days are used. 

• May  1st: K-2 Discovery Education Assessment (Think Link tests)
• May 2nd: The Finley Elementary 8th grade class of 1998 will be opening the Time Capsule at 4 P.M.
• May 3rd-This is the last day for students to obtain A.R. points.
• May 6th-Students in grades K-2 will perform in the spring musical at 1:30 P.M. in the gym. Also, all library books must be returned today!
• May 7th-Today students in grades 3rd-5th will be taking the CRA Assessment.
• May 8th-A.R. Store
• May 10th-School will not be in session today.
• May 14th-Field Day (A note with more information regarding Field Day will be sent home at a later date.)
• May 17th-The Honors Programs for students in grades 1st-5th will be held today in the gym at 8:30 A.M.
• May 20th-The 5th grade students will perform the 5th Grade Farewell today in the gym at 1:30.
• May 21st-Kindergarten students will have their graduation ceremony at 8:30 A.M. in the gym. This is also the last day of school for the 2012-2013 school year. School will dismiss at 11:00 A.M.; therefore, students will not be served lunch.
